Day 12 : Let's Bottoms Up Positivity

Positivity is just a state of mind. A choice. A deed that can only be perfected in time. And how did that made my day today? Well, this day is a bit short compared to ordinary. Well, it seems everything is short when you're enjoying every moment of it, right?!

Today, I was fortunate to spend some time with my spiritual sisters. Something you won't imagine that we will do, eeeerrrr, I mean "they" will do. I really wondered before, if they are up to it?! Until the invites were sent, "Ladies Margarita Night".

I was actually a bit hesitant about this since they are "the good girls" so I was quite surprised that we have actually a good number that said "yes". Aaahh okay, so they drink. What I'm apprehensive about is, will it be fun? Thinking that they are not into this kind of night out.

Come night time, I realized it isn't about the alcohol that will take over my tummy, it wasn't even the place we're people who are used to drinking park their asses from number of hours, it wasn't even if you're dressed up or not, it's always who you are with. And yes, it was indeed F-U-N!!!

These precious ladies that I've come to know for 8 months, but seems like years, are the sweetest. Being positive, isn't hard at all when you're with them. The kind of positivism that isn't dreamy or hypocrite at all, a positivism sprinkled with reality. How can I explain that better?! Tell me! Lemme try it... Game?! it isn't all about butterflies, blooming flowers and rainbows. It's about butterflies that undergoes certain levels of changes until it can spread it wings and fly. Not just smelling the fragrance of the flower, it's about holding the flower and the possibility to catch torn in holding it. Not just admiring the colorful rainbow, but how to be ready and prepare oneself if there will be a leprechaun at the end of it. It's not only looking at the brighter side of it, it's accepting the dark side and how to find the brighter side by learning from it. Hahaha! Gulo ba?!

All I want to say, that it isn't an easy life ( nobody said it was easy!), it will never be, but come to think of it, this hard life makes everything rewarding, a challenge, something that can make us better. Positivity is a contagious disease. So try to find people who are overflowing with it, and yes, your life will still not be easy, but it will be fun, exciting, and full of learnings.

So ready or not, let's bottoms up positivity sprinkled with reality. Kampai!
